#everydaymoments

Are you living in your everyday, or are you living for the weekends?

It is our daily lives that make up who we are, and our everyday moments that make this life worth living.  Find the beauty in your ordinary.  Take some photos and build some memories.  We remember the big things, but the little things are everything.

A Thursday in February. Valentine’s Day//

Until next time,

A Thursday in December.

  1. Breakfast.  The last time I went grocery shopping I was hungry and therefore couldn’t resist the two for four Poptarts.  I always eat them without frosting.
  2. My wakeup has been around six am now that we have a puppy.  It’s kind of nice.  I get to see the frost on the grass and the sun rise on my house.  I enjoy not being in a huge rush every morning.
  3. I work part time as a digital marketing manager, and the rest of the time as a photographer.  This day I took photos of a house for a real estate agent.
  4. Blue was very excited when I got home.
  5. She wasn’t very interested in going potty.  Mostly she just wanted to play.
  6. Reality.  Sometimes we don’t get to the dishes for a couple days and things pile up.  There’s just two of us, but in a tiny kitchen it can get out of hand pretty quickly.
  7. Blue doesn’t understand chores.
  8. A lot of her non nap time is spent playing, or her asking to play.  It’s pretty cute.
  9. She loves rough housing and we try to teach her to chew on toys, not on people.  Clearly it’s working well.
  10. I spent over four hours editing photos and watching Grey’s Anatomy in the afternoon.  So much so that I forgot to feed and take care of myself (even though I remembered to take care of my pup) and got super sick and nauseous by evening time.
  11. Which was great because Will’s work had an ugly sweater Christmas shindig downtown that evening.
  12. After eating some food and spending the evening with good people, I felt much better and we snapped a cute pic in the chilly weather on the walk back to our car.

Until next time,
Jamie out.

A Tuesday in September.

  1. Breakfast.  While living in the hotel, we usually eat their complimentary breakfast.  Occasionally I oversleep so I just eat at home to save some time.  This was one of those days!
  2. Still rocking that planner life.  Staying on top of my workouts, work life, blogger life, and wifey life.
  3. Laundry day is my least favorite day at the hotel.  The dryer hates me and it took me about four hours to do three loads (only two of which needed to be dried).
  4. I always hang dry my gentle load.
  5. Day 49 of 80 Day Obsession was Arms, Abs, and Booty day.  This workout always wipes me out but I love it.
  6. We were in need of a night of relaxation.  Work has been hard, Hurricane Florence has been stressing us out, plus something else we can’t share with you yet (which is EXCITING but also STRESSFUL).
  7. Will is getting sick (which he will not admit to you), so I made him some tea.
  8. We are going through Parks and Rec and Band of Brothers right now.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this view into our simple, normal, often boringly ordinary little life.  Don’t forget to give this post a like if you enjoyed it and subscribe if you haven’t already!  Love you guys!

Until next time,
Jamie out

  1. My camera bag that Will got me for my birthday.  It’s the perfect adventure accessory, and necessary when you need your camera for #everydaymoments blog day.
  2. Where I sit and work and blog and read every day out here in Arizona!  Curtains wide open with some coffee/water/tea, my computer, my phone, and the world wide open to me.
  3. That planner life!  I’m using a Happy Planner this year, and use it to time block out my work life, schedule photography jobs, make sure I have time to work out, etc.  It keeps me on track!  I also write down personal life stuff so it also functions as a sort of diary.
  4. Lunch time.  I’m trying to be good—eat a lot of veggies and make sure I eat carbs and protein before I work out.
  5. William came home for lunch!  He’s my favorite, and he even loves me when I’ve been all alone and introvert-y all day and it takes me a while to become interested in talking to someone again.
  6. I work out almost every afternoon so I don’t wear a lot of makeup these days.
  7. Our little hotel bathroom with our little hotel hair dryer and our hotel towels and our hotel soaps.
  8. Work out time!  I’m going through 80 Day Obsession (a Beachbody program) right now.  This day was Total Body Core which uses weights and strength slides in phase two.  This workout was legit.
  9. I always track which weights I use and compare with the last time I did the workout to make sure that I’m pushing myself to improve every time.
  10. Chocolate milk.  Not only is it delicious, but it’s a good post-workout recovery drink.  I’m down.
  11. Will got home from work a little early.  We ordered some pizza and then got a little cute (AKA I put some makeup on) for a chill and relaxed date night.
  12. Going to the movies to see the new Mission Impossible!
  13. Our favorite candies for movie viewing.  Do you guys get candy and/or popcorn when you go to the movie theater?

Hoping you had a fantastic weekend and Monday.  We’ll see you next time!
Jamie out.
